One of my favourite places to quench my thirst. Beautiful scenery, Jens the owner is a friendly guy. Great food. Try the Spinatknödel after a long walk.
Went here as the destination after a mild hike. We weren’t fortunate with the weather but could imagine the view must be great with the sun out. We went inside. It is cash only! Make sure to bring some funds. The food around us looked great and we liked the lens soup a lot! Unfortunately we cannot recommend the Kaiserschmarren here though - we were already suspicious as it was ready after 3 Minutes (not freshly made) and it does not come with usual perks at that (high) price point like raisins, almond leaves or some glazed honey… Otherwise very nice and cozy place!
One of the best huts in Bavaria. Easy hike of 1,5 hour. Wonderful food and even better sweats - great variety. Have to try the lentil soup, the Gulasch and from sweats definitely the Dampfnudel
The Aueralm offers amazing views and has good food. Run by nice staff and in winter it’s very cosy and warm inside. Especially the 2hrs up from Bad Wiessee are magic. After the hike through the Forest the Aueralm appears on the sunny riddle and welcomes you perfectly!
This could be one of my best hiking trails so far! Best is when you arrive at this country restaurant that life starts to flow in you once more! Had the best cherry cake and gulped a delicious American coffee!
Cozy restaurant a top a cold mountain. The climb is worth every inch of it.
really nice food for a decent price. The drinks are a bit expensive but the view makes up for it. Hike up was steep but relatively boring
Very cozy, fantastic view, great chili con carne and home made cakes. It is a long hike from Bad Wiessee, but well worth it. In good weather nearby Fockenstein offers a fantastic view.
